Runchat Updates: May 15, 2025

NEW DOCS:

• docs.runchat.app has a fresh new look. You can now search the docs and get responses to questions, find a new getting started guide and test API endpoints.

GRASSHOPPER UPDATES:

• Upload images directly from your local file system to edit with Gemini or convert to 3D models
• Status reports from Runchat node: If there are any issues or status messages from your runchat these will be displayed in a message bubble. This is useful for troubleshooting common problems like missing parameters or api keys.
• New examples! We've added a few examples for editing images, find them on the docs.

IMAGE VARIATIONS:

• We've added a new variations setting to generate multiple images at once with the image node. This is great for exploring concepts quickly.

SEARCH:

• We've added a bunch of different search apis to the Search library and installed this for all users by default. You can now easily use Tavily, Brave, Pure.md, Google and Arxiv search as runchat nodes and tools. Just connect your API key.

MULTIPLE TOOL CALLS:

• The prompt node is now a bit more capable with requests that require calling multiple tools, or the same tool over and over again.
