Runchat Updates: August 4, 2026
This week we introduced Blender script support, multi-file bundling for Code Nodes, improved Rhino workflows, and significant UI performance boosts.
Lots of powerful updates shipping this week, as a demo check out a game we published to runchat called Blow Hard: https://runchat.com/p/runchat/blow-hard-gardening-sim-486
🎨 BLENDER & RHINO INTEGRATIONS
You can now run simple Python scripts in Blender directly as commands through Runchat. We’ve streamlined the Rhino workflow—you no longer need to specify which canvas is open for the agent to execute actions. Code node scripts can now be run from HTML apps, making it possible to build dashboards that run multiple cad specific tools
💻 ADVANCED CODE NODES & APPS
Code nodes now support creating and bundling multiple HTML files. This allows for building more complex browser-based applications without managing a single, massive file. We've overhauled the HTML fullscreen mode to be cleaner, removing overlapping chat or title blocks. You can now preview fullscreen outputs directly and exit quickly using the ESC key.
⚡️ PERFORMANCE & UI REFINEMENTS
Dragging and selecting nodes is now much smoother. Selection toolbars and bounding boxes now render after the selection is complete to reduce lag. Filtering gallery assets now occurs post-selection, significantly improving canvas responsiveness. We've added a "New Workflow" button directly to the workflow panel for faster iteration.
🤖 MODEL UPDATES
We’ve updated our default model offerings to include GPT 5.6 Luna and Deepseek Flash. Deepseek reasoning is now set to medium by default to balance speed and intelligence.
