Runchat Updates: June 19, 2026

🔎 DYNAMIC TOOLS FOR THE AGENT

The agent can now search for, inspect and run tools that you or the community have published This means that now the agent can simply find web search tools if your request needs them The agent can also search for all published examples, inspect them and adapt them to your requests (though you still need to nudge it to do this sometimes) We've removed the + button to simplify the chat UI since it is no longer necessary to manually add tools or images The agent can now also create and connect multiple nodes in a single tool call

🆘  CHAT ONBOARDING IMPROVEMENTS

If you select "quality" as a preference in the chat onboarding you're now prompted to connect our MCP server or OpenRouter This will help you use Runchat with powerful models without blowing through Runchat credits on Opus

🧱  DASHBOARD IMPROVEMENTS

You can now click anywhere on the dashboard cards to open the workflow (sorry this has taken so long to implement) You can still expand a card to view images you've created with that workflow (and select them to download or use for training) We now show nested folders in the navigator panel to make it much easier to move content around

📃  BETTER PUBLISHING AND TITILE BAR UI

We've combined the publishing UI (for creating custom tools and apps) with the title block so this is easier to find and use We've also rolled the credit usage bars into the title block so the UI is a bit neater We don't show the sync status indicator anymore if you're connection is working fine We make it more obvious if you're on a pro plan and the workflow is public
