🪰  AGENT TEAMS

  • The runchat agent can now create subagents to perform tasks in parallel
  • All these agents have a presence on the canvas and can send messages to one another to coordinate
  • This is particularly good when you want agents to check one anothers work
  • Teams are enabled by default for subscribers

🥪  SANDBOXES AND HEADLESS MODELLING

  • Every agent now gets a sandbox (agent teams share one)
  • This sandbox is the agents own computer - it can install apps and run things like python
  • Sandboxes cost 1 credit per minute while in use and automatically stop after 5 minutes idle. For now, sandboxes aren't persistent - once they switch off any files in them are deleted
  • Sandboxes are great for headless modelling tasks with blender, see below
  • Sandboxes are enabled by default for subscribers

🎑  3D SCENE VIEWS

Agents are getting really, really good at CAD and 3D work. So good in fact that they might not need to operate existing cad apps as often, and it makes sense for runchat to provide a native 3d environment.

  • There is now a Workflow / Scene toggle at the top of the canvas that lets you switch from your 2d canvas to a 3d one
  • You can import geometry into the scene view from any connected CAD plugin, or from your own glb files
  • The agents can all write to this shared 3d scene as well, and you can ask it to model directly in the scene, or generate 3d meshes and bring them in, or model with blender in a sandbox.
  • You (and the agent) can grab views of the scene and bring them back to the canvas for renders, videos etc
